I'm normally size for 4, took my chance on size 6

So comfortable. Sizing is very ambiguous. I thought I was always a size 4, I gambled and took the size 6.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the convertible Columbia pants for about 10 years. They are just starting to appear worn. I purchased a new pair. They are comfortable. When warm I can remove the lower legs. I love the leg side pocket to safely slip my phone into.

the cinching cord on leg cuffs sticks out when cuffs cinched up for my height. I bought for hiking, wanted light-weight pants. I can see that the cord loop could easily snag on branches and whatnot, and I could see no way to easily store it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants are lightweight, waterproof, perfect for hiking and travel, comfortable, wind resistant, perfect also for golfing due to flexibility to convert from pants to shorts as the day progresses. LOVE and highly recommend these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pants in green and size 8 regular a few months ago and used them for gardening and my trip to Iceland. They were great for hiking; convenient due to all the pockets, durable, comfortable, and they look great. I am 5 ft tall (short and stocky) but they cinch around my ankles and don’t drag. They are great for gardening because they are quick-dry and don’t stain when I get dirt on them. Love them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a size up, and they were still too tight around the waist. I usually wear a size 4, ordered a 6. Should have gotten an 8. I wore them on a backpacking weekend and aside from them being a little tight, the fabric was comfortable and dried quickly. Good quality stitching.

Great pants, great idea, but wrong material

Great pants. Why 4 stars only? The material. It is so noisy that I cant use it only hikes. I would not see any wildlife.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best for my job on the beach. Keep the bugs off of me in the morning, and when the sun comes up and it gets hot I can take the pant legs off to stay cooler. The material is stretchy and comfortable. I love them. Wish more color options were available, I would love them in gray.
