I can't attest to its warmth yet, but I wanted a warm, weather-resistant jacket that wouldn't require me to carry around a lot of extra bulk when I travel. The beetroot color is not one I would have normally selected for myself but it was the only option on sale at the time, and I was pleasantly surprised how lovely it is in person! I am 5'5 and typically wear a medium in clothing and outerwear, and this jacket fits true to size and is very comfortable. As other reviewers have noted, the sleeves are a little long but they are not such an issue that I would consider returning. I also like that the fur detaches from the hood if desired. Very cute, practical jacket that I'm eager to wear.
