My normal sizing was not sizing normally for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while to find the right size. I’m a 4 in every other brand by Columbia paints and ended up with size 8 being the best fitting.

High waisted

I bought these for the zippered pockets and those were great. The fit through the legs were good, comfortable, lightweight and stretchy. However, these pants are very high waisted - can’t imagine hiking in them. They were so uncomfortable. Also the waist was way too tight. I normally wear a size 4 in every pant and I did order a size 4. However the waist was way too small. Even if the waist fit, being so high waisted was not for me. I returned them.
