I’ve had Columbia mittens before and they did not disappoint, so I went back when I needed another pair ( because I lost one). These mittens keep my hands warm while being out in the cold weather. I love that I can fit them under the sleeve of my coat or leave them on the outside. The adjustable buckles help keep them snug so they don’t come off while sleigh riding. They are waterproof to also keep your hands dry.

These mittens are fine, but not as well constructed as the older version that I have been wearing or about 10 years. The fit is tighter (using a hand warmer would make it very tight), and the insulation does not extend above the wrist. The drawstrings at the top are excessively long. The tag says they are touch screen compatible; who on earth would attempt (or want) to use a touch screen while wearing thick mittens?! A rather silly feature. Anyway, I need replacement heavy mittens so I will keep them. But I far prefer the design of my old ones.
