a great backpack

I bought this backpack before spending 12 weeks in Denmark and I definitely recommend it. Because of the clamshell design, it's able to hold so much more than my old backpack and it's much easier to use. I found it slightly less comfortable to wear, based on the strap design, but so glad I had it. I got asked a few times on my trip and referred them back to Cotopaxi, I hope they like their bags as much as I do!

Good, but the 20L is great :)

I purchased the 28L allpa after being blown away by the 20L. I appreciate the compartmental approach to packing and the 20L has a great weight to volume ratio. I was able to pack for a 5 day business trip in the 20L.
I figured 8L more plus the laptop sleeve would be even better.
Unfortunately, the bag is much stiffer and heavier than the 20L, probably as a result of the laptop sleeve structure. I do really appreciate the deep pocket on the front. You could fit two phones plus a light travel jacket for easy grab. I think my passport would probably fit in the smaller pocket as well.
I packed for a 4 day marathon trip with my gear and the 28L fit everything nicely (though the bag is definitely full).
The del dia dark is nice, though I wish they'd left out the pastel accents that I received (loved the other colors thought). Maybe it'd be a good option to be able to select a theme of accents? Such as cold colors, warm colors, etc?
The straps are the same as the 20L - seemingly junk but somehow actually quite comfortable :)
Overall, I like it. It isn't as great as the 20L mostly due to weight to volume of the pack iteself. Still, I plan to keep it.

My new 10 yr old wanted a travel bag like her daddy and asked for an allpa so I went with the 28 for her and I know its going to see her through her young teen and adult life wherever her heart takes her. The in store custoemr service is top notch and if your ever in SLC be sure to head to the downtown showroom.

I love it a lot! had it for a 4 days trip, i got so many compliments and my friends wanna get one. it’s fashionable, light, Compact, the different pockets are great and very functional. I think 28L was a great pick for me.
