Cotopaxi Allpa 28L Travel Pack

Learned about this brand because of their sustainable-minded design, and was drawn to the lovely colors of this Del Dia Allpa 28L backpack. I love my Allpa 28L's spectacular, one-of-a-kind combination of colors (including my favorite color)! The backpack's suitcase-style opening made my packing process a breeze, and its interior's super spacious. For flights: 1. I've brought my Allpa 28L as a personal item on U. S. domestic flights (its new luggage pass through handle on the back helped it to be placed securely over my carry-on suitcase handle), and this 28L backpack could be tucked under the seat with ease. 2. I appreciated its design of waist belt tuck away space, for it's quite spacious and could tuck away not only waist belts but the edges of the straps and even chest buckle -- no need to worry about tripping others in packed economy cabins. 3. The anti-theft design of the laptop compartment (a ring close to the top that prevents the zipper of the laptop compartment from being slid down all the way easily) is a wonderful design. For hikes: 1. The small straps on four corners served as my hiking poles' holders, and I've clipped carabiners on them to hold items such as my hat. 2. The padded shoulder straps made hiking/carrying a lot more comfortable. 3. The front pockets with different compartments gave me easy-access to my belongings while categorizing them so that I didn't have to fumble around.

I have wanted one of these backpacks for forever! The quality is amazing, it is HUGE on the inside and holds a lot more than you would think. It is the perfect travel backpack.

I bought this pack for an extended overseas trip in November and I wanted something that I felt good about as far as helping the environment (the fabric used would otherwise have gone to a landfill). Since buying it, I’ve had to make a few short trips within the US and I’ve found this pack to be exactly what I needed. The inside organization pockets work well for me. I especially like the laptop pocket, not to mention the stretch water bottle pocket that holds my bottle with no fear of it falling out. All in all, this is a well made pack and I’m happy I bought it!

I spent a long time researching the best options for travel with a personal item only, and this was recommended over and over. I love how colorful it is, and how all the pockets are organized. I haven’t gotten a chance to fly with it yet, but will report back if I have any issues (which I won’t).

This is my second Allpa. My original was a prize for a quest and is still in good shape. However, it is worth the upgrade to the new Allpa for the new water bottle pocket and passport pocket. Now my water bottle is contained and I don’t have to worry about it swinging on it’s carabiner and hitting the person behind me.

It's a great backpack, perfect for front country and couple day trips! It's fun colors and more pockets than imaginable. The only downside is the water bottle holders can't fit a Nalgene-- other than that it's the perfect backpack for a quick weekend getaway.

Very easy to keep things organized, comfortable wear when packed and looks cool as well. Really like the compartment sizing.

I wasn’t sure that this bag would be roomy enough to use as a weekender but it worked out great. I fit toiletries, a pair of shoes, 3 days worth of clothes, and fit a hard cover novel in the top outside pocket. I could probably for more if I used compression packing cubes. This is a sturdy bag and will use it for years to come.
