I received this bag under my old bag’s warranty and I love the newest version’s water bottle pouch, laptop sleeve, and interior structure that is similar to built in packing cubes. Looking forward to many more years of adventure with this bag!

My new “go to” travel bag!

I was looking for a bag to travel airports that carried more, but wasn’t cumbersome and my family showed me this as a birthday gift. It was better than I expected and travels the airport VERY well if you’re looking for something to support a work trip with uniform/boots, or you check a bag and want multiple items with you. I loved it.

I bought the travel pack for an international trip and tested it out on a trip to FL. It really holds a lot and while it was a little heavy from what I packed, once I had it on my back it was great. Easy to put in the overhead bin too.
Would recommend it if you don’t mind carrying it some of the time.

The Only Travel Backpack You'll Ever Need

My Alpha 25L and I were love at first sight.
When I bought it, I was dreaming about adventure. I had this desire to solo travel the world, but at the time it was only a dream. Still, I bought the backpack.
As a very picky industrial designer, I spent hours comparing different models in stores. What convinced me about the Cotopaxi Allpa was how thoughtfully designed it was. Every compartment had a purpose, and it felt like it had been built for the kind of systematic, organized traveler I wanted to become.
Later that same year, my Allpa 25L and I traveled across the Americas. It carried my life through snow covered mountains, vast oceans, dense tropical jungles, rivers, cities, and remote landscapes. Its most memorable journey was through Chile, where I traveled with only that backpack, exploring everything from the Atacama Desert to Patagonia and the end of the world. Along the way, it accompanied me through vineyards, beaches, mountains, cities, and some of the most diverse ecosystems I have ever experienced.
After years of adventures, I recently upgraded to the new Allpa 35L. The added features, like the water bottle pocket and luggage pass through, make an already incredible backpack even better. Honestly, I have a hard time imagining using anything else. This will probably be the only travel backpack I use for the rest of my life.
Over the years, Cotopaxi has become much more than a backpack brand for me. Today, I own Cotopaxi clothing, daypacks, travel bags, and gear of all kinds. Earlier this year, I even had the chance to hike the Cotopaxi Volcano wearing my favorite Cotopaxi trekking outfit and carrying one of my daypacks. It felt like a full circle moment.
Now, with my new Allpa 35L packed and ready, I'm excited to see where our next adventures take us. If the last few years are any indication, there are still many stories left to write.

I enjoyed my pack for a couple of years, until the key strap got stuck in the zipper and damaged. cotopaxi took it back and replaced it right away.

Ordered this after returning from a week and a half long trip. I was frustrated with my luggage throughout the trip, and upon returning I knew exactly what I was looking for. Haven’t been able to use it yet, but it checks all the boxes of what I was looking for on my next adventure.
