Cotopaxi Allpa 42L Travel Pack

I’ve never been a backpack traveler, but this bag has made me a convert! I’m taking it on a 12 day roadtrip and am loving its small footprint. It has so many useful pouches and sections, plus I love how responsibly it’s been made.

I love the cotopaxi Allpa bags, they make traveling easier and more organized. I just recieved a replacement bag because my original was delaminating. Warranty department was awesome! Thank uou so much! I have to say I think the build quality of the older models felt a lot studied but we will see over time. The new design has some great features but many of my favorite aspects from thr okd design altered removed. The side zip that allows access to the entire large section, multi zzops for smaller item internally and the hideaway zip were some of my favorite parts of the older model. I do like the water bottle addition and the outer pocket on the new design but wish some of the components of the past made their way to the future

I ordered this bag intending to use it as a carryon and weekend away bag. It is bigger than the backpack i had been using and I am loving the additional space. Perfectly contained all I needed for a weekend trip. The fact that it opens up clamshell style creating separate compartments make it easy to organize and access items without disturbing everything in the bag. I used packing cubes within the compartments which made organizing so easy. It was super comfortable to wear on my back and I loved all the different handles to make grabbing it from any angle easy. Don’t hesitate, this is a winner!

This is my third Cotopaxi bag(Allpa 35 and the Allpa 65 roller bag ). I love the new features and larger size. I can’t wait to test this pack out on a upcoming trip to Spain.

Bought one Allps Travel Pack from you guys and now my wife wants one!

I finally got to use this bag on a week-long trip to Arizona. It easily fit all my clothes and shoes and is comfy to carry on your back or even by hand with a small strap. My only complaint is that my black bag does not have different color zippers like other versions.

Now I’m not here to hype for no reason— I did notice some stitching on one shoulder strap starting to come undone after 9 years of normal use. It hasn’t failed, but it’s something I’m addressing. Based on everything else about the bag, I expect Cotopaxi to stand behind it. The warranty system is exceptional But here’s the truth most people miss: The real value of this bag isn’t just durability— it’s how it upgrades your mindset when you move. You stop overpacking. You move with intention. You stay ready. That’s different. Bottom line: If you want a bag that doesn’t just carry your life—but helps you run it better—this is it. Aside fromthat small stitching detail, this is easily a 10/10.
