purchased as a present for my girlfriend who doesn’t carry much but wanted a place for her keys, wallet, etc. she uses it every day for her necessities and she loves it. i’m sure would be great for travel as well but she loves it for errands and urban exploring.

Practical carry-all for mountain life

I’m a no nonsense kinda gal and needed a small pack for my keys, wallet, and a few odds and ends to wear on the daily with a casual mountain town lifestyle. This basic little pack does exactly that. I liked the earthier color combo of the one I chose because it doesn’t need to be the main character like the bright ones would.

This pack was just the right size for hikes, walks, travel. It had enough room for a small water bottle along with wallet, phone, keys, and a few small items. It has 2 small inner pockets so the smaller items are not shifting around. It was not noticeable on my shoulder because the strap is narrower and comfortable. I like that it is made sustainably!

Whereas I really like my Cada Dia accessory bag, I haven’t been thrilled with the Bataan fanny pack. I was drawn to it because of its beautiful colors, but I haven’t found the fanny pack to be as functional as I’d like, mainly because the straps that go around the waist are difficult to adjust and keep tight. Part of my reaction may be because of the fact that I haven’t used fanny packs in the past and I’m not very familiar with wearing them around on hikes or whatever.
