This pack was just the right size for hikes, walks, travel. It had enough room for a small water bottle along with wallet, phone, keys, and a few small items. It has 2 small inner pockets so the smaller items are not shifting around. It was not noticeable on my shoulder because the strap is narrower and comfortable. I like that it is made sustainably!

Whereas I really like my Cada Dia accessory bag, I haven’t been thrilled with the Bataan fanny pack. I was drawn to it because of its beautiful colors, but I haven’t found the fanny pack to be as functional as I’d like, mainly because the straps that go around the waist are difficult to adjust and keep tight. Part of my reaction may be because of the fact that I haven’t used fanny packs in the past and I’m not very familiar with wearing them around on hikes or whatever.

I love these fanny packs. This is at least my fifth or sixth Bataan 3L Del Dia and that’s not due to quality it’s due to me just loving the different colors. These are highly durable, beautiful high quality fanny packs that last years if you’re willing to take care of them and hand wash them from time to time. I buy Cotopaxi because I absolutely love the colors and even more so I love what Cotopaxi stands for and does for the local people working on these packs and the use of materials that otherwise might end up in a landfill. Amazing gear and amazing company that actually stands for something which is becoming more rare by the day. Thank you to all the people that make Cotopaxi happen and continue to run on a daily basis. You’re all awesome!!!

I love my new Cotopaxi fanny pack. It’s perfect for travel. I can pack it in my suitcase and then, when I arrive, put my purse away and use the fanny pack. My one hesitation relates to using it as a cross shoulder pack. It tips over when reaching in to get something. This means I have to take it off to avoid spilling the contents.

I bought this as part of of a larger bag order for my autistic kiddo to try for carrying small items at school. He didn’t like it, and it doesn’t have enlightening pockets for my needs. It has one main compartment with two mesh pockets. Our four year old, however, has claimed it as her own. She adores it, and it’s honestly perfect for her. She wears it on all our walks hikes, and trips to the park, and she now has a place to put all her rocks, sticks, leaves, and whatever else she picks up along the way. It will also hold her stuffed Jellycat bunny in a pinch, which is a huge feature for her. I love that’s it’s made from fabric scraps. The colours are great, and it’s fun knowing no two bags are the same. This is my first purchase from Cotopaxi, but it won’t be my last. After seeing this bag, and how well it’s made, I know it’s worth the cost.

I had my first pack for so long. Now it’s time for an upgrade and my old one is now for the gym!! I can fit so much stuff in it. It’s perfect: keys, wallet, phone, pouches, med organizer.
