I was looking for a comfortable bag when my old bag of 10 years finally kicked it. While I was looking for a clamshell, I ended up settling with this one because the straps were very comfortable-usually an issue with stiffer straps on my small 5’3 frame- and it fits perfectly under a seat when flying. As a minimalist when traveling, it’s super lightweight and fits everything I need for a weekend to weeklong travel trip. The 28L would have been too large for sure. Loving this bag, only suggestions would be to make a clamshell version and add some lightweight hip straps (and I wouldn’t hate a panel to slide over a carryon handle). Also, could not love the poppy random colors more!
