it's great but scratches easily. That doesn't affect the waxing quality though but would be nice that you edge the board before waxing it....

I've used the iron 3 or 4 times now and haven't had any issues. Seems to work better than an old clothing iron that I used to use as the temperature is more controllable and the heating surface isn't overly large.

I used the iron four times. The iron was stored in the kit (as it had been the last three times I used it). This time it wouldn’t turn on, just dead. Had to pull out an antique my dad gave me. That old iron hadn’t been plugged in over 25 years; it worked like a charm!
Guess they really don make em like they used to.
