Lightweight, but appears quite weak.

Full disclosure: I returned it since someone had already set a new number on it before I received it so it could not be opened, and there were no replacements available.
Overall it is very compact, but the cable is very thin compared to my older one. I can imagine it easily being cut by a basic wire cutter. Decent to protect from “opportunity” theft, but not likely against anyone who had planned to steal something.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Total scam

Didn't work right out of the package. Tried to return it to the store and they told us we had to go through Dakine warranty as we had bought it beginning of Dec for an xmas gift but didnt try to use it until we went skiing mid-Jan. Missed the return date by a few days. Dakine would cover it under warranty since we had the receipt, but we would have to ship it to them so they could verify that it didnt work and try to fix it. Waste of time and money and we wouldn't have gotten it back, or a new one, until after ski season.
No, I do not recommend this product.
