    Daily Driver Diamondback Expresso

I recently challenged myself to bike to work and back everyday about 11k a day I bought this bike on sale not really expecting much since its a department store bike but since its been a entire month of daily riding I must say it's holding up well. The six month warranty is nice I've brought it in twice for normal issues with a new bike (slight gear slipping and front wheel spoke adjustment) and It was fixed quick. So far its been dependable (knock on wood) haha. The gears shift smooth the front shocks are nice for sidewalks its comfortable and light not super duper lightweight but its what you'd expect for a department store bike disc brakes are good and I like that the bike isnt super flashy nice dark matte blue. After a few more months and some winter riding I may update my review. I will also add I wouldn't buy this bike or any of these bikes unless they're on sale these bikes full price not on sale and getting into Norco and big brand named bike territory and I just dont think this bike or any of these diamondback bikes are worth that price but for $449 after tax yeah its a good bike I dont feel bad about daily riding and beating up.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    disappointing quality

Bought this just over a month ago and noticed the paint was worn off in several spots on the forks and frame due to cables being too long & rubbing. Took the bike in for a tune-up and to have the issues addressed; was told there was nothing they could do and that's the way the bike is. The "fix" for the paint being worn off the forks was to use a magic marker to colour in the spots where the paint had rubbed off. The tech suggested I get stickers or something to cover the spots where the cables are rubbing if I was bothered by the paint wearing off.

No, I do not recommend this product.
