Way better than my 21 speed mountain bike

I'm a 72 year old man and no athlete. I was looking specifically for a mountain bike that handled hills better than my 21 speed hardtail mountain bike. This bike is amazing. The gear ratios make climbing hills much easier - don't get me wrong - you still have to work - but I'm doing hills I wouldn't try before. On level ground the gear ratio doesn't allow me to go as fast as my old bike - no big deal to me. The tires are wider and knobbier than my old bike. Noisier on pavement but much better in gravel and on trails. The bike is also lighter than my old bike. Very happy with it - still thinking of e-bike - we'll see- in no rush now.

Yes, I recommend this product.
