Diamondback Voyageurs 700c eBike

I was gifted this EBike from Sport Chek to review and my honest opinion, is that I LOVE it!! I'm 5'6" and I have a Medium frame and it fits well. It comes with the back tire bag rack and is such a nice finishing touch! It's so easy to use, you charge the battery, slide it into place, turn it on and go! One feature that is extremely under rated is how quite it is! I can't get over how loud some of the other EBike's I've passed are, but this one, you wouldn't even know it's an EBike, it sounds and acts like a regular bike but give you that right amount of kick when you need it. I would 100% recommend!

Pike up this bike for my self (and the Diamondback Waterfront for my wife) last weekend. This bike is a steal even at the regular price. Not sure how they are able to sell if for so low. I don't think I could get the 14ah Samsung battery pack and Bafang kit for less then then Sport Chek are selling this. I'm 6.2 and the large is a little small for me however. Unfortunately the XL was sold out when I purchased.

This was much cheaper than my previous ebike but I am happily surprised. I have owned a number of high end ebikes and the Bafang system.is smooth and okay, especially for the price. Range is lower than my previous 2 bikes that cost double buy still 50km plus at level 2 on a warm day. Range falls off in cooler weather. Most impressed with the bike underneath. It is an odd mixture of hybrid and mountain bike but does everything well. Love it more as I drive it more, and this is from someone that had a high end Giant with Yamaha drive and another Bosch ebike. It is not better than these but competent and half the price. Excellent value.

Everything I wanted except the brakes. Will be upgrading those.

As the previous reviewer said, when bought on sale it really is an unbeatable deal. I also liked that when the battery is removed, there is enough room between the top and down tubes to fit onto a bike rack. Time will tell whether or not the motor holds up to my daily usage. The mechanic that put together the bike needs more attention to details. Shifting was fine but the handlebar and the front mud guard were put together crookedly. They also forgot to remove the Sportschek anti-theft lock on the handlebar which required me to make another trip to the store.

Purchased the Voyageurs 700C E-bike 2021 in medium It's a solid bike that is well powered by the on-board battery. The bike is not as low as a standard walk but at 5'2", I can still reach over the bar about 32" from the ground. The seat is comfortable (even for the most unused derrieres). The handle bars are ergonomic designed, flexible and easy to hold. The breaking mechanisms are easy to apply without having to use absolute grip strength. The assisted peddling makes the ride effortless and quite fast. The battery last a long time. I've bought the bike 3 weeks ago, riding at least 60 min on levels 1/2 and I still have more than 50% capacity in my battery. The rack on the back of the bike is solid. I would improve it by having holes or loops that allow for bungee cords to slip into. I would improve the gear changer. It is hard to push it all the way in since you have to lean forward and rotate your wrist almost under the handle bars. It could be a little more accessible. (I find it hard to change gears with my short thumbs). It is a heavy bike if you plan on lifting it into a car or storing up on a wall, even after you remove the battery.
