Eagle Creek Migrate 130L Wheeled Duffel Bag

One camping trip to Alaska so far with my previous non wheeled duffle getting damaged with airline personnel dragging across concrete. Definitely easier to maneuver solo on hard ground with the wheels. Not as compact in storage compared to a non wheeled bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this bag. Just bought a second one. I teach Yoga and do massage. This bag is perfect for carrying mats, blocks, etc for my classes. In the past I went through 1 bag per year. . . zippers woukd break, seams would rip etc. But those bag is so durable, well made. And the fabric is easily wiped and pet hair doesn't stick to it. Love that I can wheel it or put it on my back if the terrain doesn't allow that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this to replace our ll bean rolling duffel that was enormous and would often go over the 50 lbs weight maximum. It was purchased in 2009 Before all of the travel restrictions we have now. Pros: This bag is really light! We are a family of four and prefer to check one bag than to carry on anything. We used this over Presidents’ Day and easily fit 4 days worth of clothing in packing cubes for 2 adults and 2 kids ages 11 and 9. Upon or return it weighed about 47lbs! We didn’t fit our shoes though so used a smaller second bag for that. It’s also very compact to store whether at home or while on vacation. Cons: The duffle handle when rolling is too short for my husband who is 6’1” So I was the one at 5’6” Who did the rolling. Maybe we will buy an extension strap or something. I think the bag seems sturdy but I’m not sure if the material will Hold up Over the long term. There were scuffs in the outside after our one trip. I appreciate the size and the weight of this duffel and hope to get years I of use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am headed to South America. As You know checked luggage must fit the 62" total measurements 23 kg (50 pounds) is the total weight weight allowed. And sometimes as low as 18 kg (40 pounds). Most bags weigh close to 10 pounds+ before any clothes are added. Heck a pair of hiker boots weight 3 1/2 pounds! The Migrant Wheeled Duffel weighs only 5 lbs. 6 oz. allowing for plenty of extra clothes. My new choice for overseas travel!
