Helmet /mask structure prevents use of glasses!

I cannot use because when attached it draws in the helmet and is difficult to put on. When I do finally get it on , I cannot wear glasses. Before putting it on, I cannot wear my glasses as it is too tight.
I've done quite a survey regarding solutions and the only one seems to be contact lenses. At my age , I am not starting again!
