Big problem with this item

I absolutely love the idea of this- the colour, the softness and the comfort. However, after I inspected it, it has pen marks all over it. It looks like these marks were a guide to where to sew on the tie around the middle. I’m very disappointed that no one noticed this before shipping it out.
