Tried it on a 2010 Specialized and an older Gary Fisher, both MTBs. Didn't fit on the bar on either bike, ring diameter was too small. Returned.

It rang twice

And then it never rang again. Very lightweight material, it broke before I even finished installing it, without any mishandling.
