Evoke Balance Board

The balance board was great. I would recommended to others

This is exactly what i was looking for- sandpapery surface, perfect for bare feet. The base is smooth so you'll need to have it on a textured surface. I use mine on a yoga mat and it works great!

Purchased this to help with post-surgery recovery. (I liked using this tool at physio so wanted to have one at home to.)

This balance board is a great product, for a great price!

This board is a little smaller than the one I used at the gym. It’s wide enough for me though. The quality is seems very good. I’d recommend it but test it out first to see if it’s a good fit.

Two weeks in, this balance board is working well as a balance board for my kids to play on and for the adults to use from time to time. It's esthetic with a small footprint and nice grip on the surface. I would have given higher stars except that the manual makes it blatantly obvious that the manufacturer doesn't even care that they're selling to an English speaking market, and sadly I think it shows Western society has severely dropped the bar on what we expect from those selling to us. I intentionally bought from Sport Chek in order to get a higher quality product than what I might get from a saturated marketplace but it doesn't look like SC curates their products any better. I believe presentation should matter, and respect for the language of the client. Images in the manual didn't align with the descriptions. The descriptions were so badly worded and formatted that they barely made sense, if they did at all. One section even read like they were directions for the person writing the description. But at least the manual clearly states under "Warranty" that this product has no warranty. Hopefully the product itself holds up. Had we not already used the product significantly before opening the manual, I may have returned it on a matter of principal. If there's going to be English instructions, I expect it to be readable English. If we keep tolerating products that are presented like this we're going to continue to reinforce an image to those we buy from that we have zero standards and will take (and pay for) whatever they want to get rid of. We shouldn't then be surprised when the item on our doorstep yesterday ends up in our trash can tomorrow.
