Not as good as they used to be

Bought a new pair of these shorts this year. Disappointed with the design changes. The single button closure system keeps poping when I land jumps. Previous models of ranger shorts had a button and a plastic hook that worked like a belt.

Shorts arrived without pad insert

After waiting a while on shipping from SportChek, the shorts arrived without the padded insert. Clearly, it was already cut and removed from the "new" shorts. After dealing with the return to sportchek, decided to purchase directly from Fox.

The shorts are very well designed and comfortable for the money with the removable cushion shorts. The only problem I found was adjustability to tighten the belt or strap I guess I should say. Besides this they are great

Fits small but a very nice short

They fit small. Typically a 33/34 bought a 36 and with the built in belt dialled it in to perfection. Pad is comfortable and can be separated from the shorts.

Love them but buy the Ranger Lite

The best bike shorts I’ve owned. Comfortable and simple in design. Only 4 out of 5 Stars because I also bought the Ranger Lite version and for $20 less they are virtually the same.
