Touch and Power

Gamma Sports, do not stop making this paddle. After nearly a year of playing with the Hellbender, it's still my go to paddle. The balance of control and power are ideal for the player who enjoys setting up their points. Spin is very good. Being a top spinner, I'm pleased with amount of spin still generated with it. The feedback from the paddle when you hit the sweet spot is ... well, its sweet!

From the first time I played with the Hellbender, I knew it would be my new go-to paddle. I use it for all rec and tournament play! It has great control and pop which makes for smooth dinking and solid drives.

Hellbender Rocks!

I've used to play with the Compass, but love my Hellbender. I think it has the best touch, while still delivering the pop needed to put away winners. The Neucore core gives it a large sweet spot and great consistency. I'm not the only one who loves it, as several of my friends here in South Dakota have started using the Hellbender! Great paddle!

Love this paddle. Like love love. I think this is my 12th paddle I have switched around to. I've tried Selkirk, Paddletek, ProKennex, and most of the Gamma paddles and I've finally found the perfect paddle for me. I thought I loved a super light paddle but realized the soft game was lacking. My heavier paddles were great for drives and touch but my quick net game was lacking. Now the Hellbender comes out and I realize it's the perfect combination of power and touch game. I also found out that I can never go back to a standard shaped paddle and the extra length is amazing! I love Gammas grips too, perfect medium size and has nice edges. Get one if you're looking for the best all around paddle! I'm 160 lbs, 4.0-4.5 player!
