Great training tool

Measurements of current pace can vary. Mile pace and average pace are very helpful. Used to train for a marathon and worked great for pace, distance and heart rate.

Durable and Comfortable

I have had this watch for about 2 years. The battery life is great; I only charge it about once per week. I am not gentle with watches, and this one is no exception. I have smacked it on so many things and there are no signs of damage. It is easy to use and has all of the basic features that I need + more. I like that it is fairly slim as I am not a fan of chunky watches. I would highly recommend this product!

Great basic running watch

So far I'm quite pleased with this watch. I dont need music so this works fine and a reasonable price. Good battery life and lots of functions like heart rate monitor and sleep cycle analysis (like how much deep sleep REM sleep, etc.). I use it to track my activities like walking, running, and skiing. Simple to use. Would recommend it. If you want music go for the 245 Music model.

Relative to Garmin's other models, the forerunner 45 is great option that won't break the bank. It's a work horse in that it's reliable under tough conditions while providing basic data fields for numerous activities.

I bought this some time ago. It is a good GPS watch for the price. I do a lot of walking and like to focus on speed and distance. Does it very well. Notifications are good as well.
