Gear Aid Tenacious Clear Repair Tape

I bought this to repair a winter coat and it works very well, at least so far.

Works great! I applied it on my Columbia rain jacket and it works like there was no rip. Also the patch is barley visible and nobody notices it. Must buy if you don’t want to throw away your rain gear just because of a small rip.

Love this product. Had a tear in my outdoor umbrella cover and it worked beautifully!

Repaired a hole in my waterproof backpack canvas. Splashed some water over it, seems to be holding very well. Easy to apply.

I'm certain many of the seasoned Campers will already know about this product but for those that haven't heard about it, I'd encourage you to add a tube of "Tenacious Repair Tape" to your gear bag. I had not heard of this "miracle worker" but can personally say I'm impressed. We had a tennis ball size hole in the vinyl roof on our vintage trailer, directly over the bed. Given the age of our trailer, we couldn't justify the expense of a shop repair. I cleaned the vinyl and placed the patch last Friday. You'll recall the torrential downpour on Friday night and again on Sunday! I figured the patch would be floating away with the rain as truthfully it didn't get long to "cure" but am pleased to confirm not only did the patch HOLD, but even more impressive, not a drop of rain came in. Indeed well worth the money I spent at Cdn Tire. Anyways for those that haven't heard about it, I can say grab a roll cause you never know when a pole gets poked through the wrong spot on a tent or other gear. And no, I don't work for them....just sharing a great product find!

Just finished patching the floor of my tent after our tent heater fell over and melted a hole in it (we were not in the tent and just heating it up before bed). Patched it from the inside and out, did a quick water test on the outside and there was no water on the inside. Adheres extremely well and would use it again! Saves the couple $$$ of a new tent!

Excellent product saved my from having to replace a tear in the Gazebo Roof. Each package contains 1 cuttable strip that is approximately 12" long.

Good product. Simple and easy to use. Handy to have for small tears.
