It really works great, but it is a total workout getting the insert in and out. Also would be nice to have a fill to line on inside as well.

Great product and the filter gets 5 stars. Unfortunately I wanted to order a spare filter for this Press and my Titanium press but they were out of stock.

Backpacking with Grayl Geopress
I have used several different water purifiers when backpacking. Their design uses a pump to push water through a filter. These filters are good, but a pump failure would be a major issue during a backpacking trip. The design of the Grayl is much more reliable. No pump to break! It uses your own body weight to press water through the filter. Carrying a Grayl Geopress and an extra filter ensures I have a trustworthy method to purify water during my backpacking trip.

Outstanding Product
I purchased this after a good friend recommended trying it out. I used it on a 3 day backpacking trip with no issues. I used various water sources from a river to a trickle of water that crossed a dirt trail (It turned the water from brown to clear and tasted great). This will definitely be a piece of equipment that I’ll use on many more hikes.
