    Great product!

We use this when we travel anywhere, even domestically, and want to fill water bottles from sink faucet. The water tastes great and has no “chlorine” taste to it like most water does, which is one way I know it’s working! It works well, but does leave a little residual water in the unfiltered canister no matter how much I push down. Not a big deal I just discard it when finished filling bottles. Wish I would have bought a bigger one. Definitely still considering it. Highly recommend.

I bought my UltraPress Purifier for overlanding and hiking. But now I also use it at home. I am on a well and my water is “safe” but has a ton of minerals that do not taste good. I have a whole house filtration system and another filter on my spigot. The water still isn’t tasty. I filtered it with the UltraPress Purifier and it is a game changer! It tastes sooo good! You also do not get that weird filter taste. I 10/10 recommend. I not only would recommend it. I already have to all the people on my well.

I just purchased an Ultrapress to do in a Search and Rescue 24 hour pack. I pack water, but you never know, and the orange one will not get lost in the dusk or gloom. . . I hope. It pairs perfectly with a funnel bag and a 450ml cup. . . and does not take up too much room. Works fantastic for some quick cold mountain stream water. . . . purified!

The product works great, filters great, and the water tastes great. I have the larger Grayl that I use for camping/hiking. I use the 16. 9 ounce for daily use. On both Grayl's I have, it is difficult to see the water fill line on the cup. I work around it by using a sharpie to darken it up and it makes it a little easier to see. Second, I wish the 16. 9 had cap retention like the larger model. I can see this lid getting lost or dropped and not able to retrieve it. The only other thing is it can be a struggle to break the seal, even with the lid completely off, between the cup and the filter. When it breaks free some of the residual water that is always left after filtering water goes flying everywhere. If there was some type of release valve on the bottom of the cup that breaks the seal just to get the two pieces apart, it would be great. If those three things were changed it would be absolutely perfect.

I like the Grayl and trust it as a purifier. My one complaint is that the seal between the two main pieces eventually goes bad and then when you try to pour out the clean water, the unpurified water from the bottom chamber drizzles out with it.

Loving it so far! Traveling in parts of Eastern Europe where they say the water is ‘safe’ to drink but why chance it. The Grayl 16oz bottle is the perfect blend of ease of use coupled with small size. In less than ten seconds we can get fresh filtered water from virtually any source without fear of bacteria or other bad things. Very happy with my purchase!

I had to ask for help to pull the inner section out so that I could fill the outer shell with unfiltered water. Also it was difficult to push the inner section with the filter down, but at least that was doable and expected.

This is by far the best water bottle ever made. I have struggled for years to find a water bottle for everyday life, that can filter out all the bad stuff. The ease and function of this bottle are second to none.
