    necessary for my adventures

i love this bladder and prefer it to competitors. i love that it has a hook, it makes it easier to hang it and refill it. i like the handle too, another easy way to fill it. 3L is an amazing size for me, because i drink a lot of water! it hasn’t leaked at all, i like the bite valve on it. my only criticism is i wish it came with the bite valve cover instead of having to buy it separately.

Simply put, the opening to this reservoir needs to be much larger. Anyone calling this thing a "wide mouth" has clearly not seen the competition - this is the smallest opening I've ever used (Gregory is 2", Camelbak is 3.5" and Osprey is 5"). You can't quickly pour in a cup of ice without spilling everywhere because due to the opening being so small, you have to line the ice up just right (single file straight line) or they don't fit. So if you do need ice, the handle isn't helping you because you need both hands for wrangling. Also, I'm guessing that because the opening is so small, with the design not being fully open at one end, it makes it that much more difficult to dry. Their new system for opening/closing the valve is so much more challenging than previous iterations. If you are looking for detachable tubes, wide mouths, and quick drying reservoirs - look at Camelbak or Osprey as they both do this job much better than Gregory. There are other more minor issues, but these are the major fails imo.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It's a well designed and durable bag. It has a wide mouth for easy filling with a lid that screws closed easily, a quick connect straw, a baffle up the middle of the bag to mitigate sloshing and a loop to hang it from in your pack. Anyone looking for a quality water reservoir would be well served by one of these.

I have been a CB user for decades. My only complaint is the angle of the bite valve is awkward at times. All the fittings are tight and easy to use. Cleaning is a breeze with the attached hangers.

Has worked great. Fits in my bag nice and doesn’t obstruct the rest of my 20L bag.

Product shipped rather quickly and company was easy to work with. I've only taken this thing out on short hikes as of yet but it performs exactly how I wanted it to. The bottom drying hook seems a little gimmicky as the reservoir doesn't seem to dry any quicker than my old one, but overall I would recommend this product and would personally buy it again!
