When i looked at this online i was not sure how sturdy it would be so i only bought one not a pair, but this is a very well made box and the hinges are really neat, very happy with this and will make up the pair later

Nice boxes

The gear box is solid. On its first trip at base camp for a kayaking trip the boxes held up well and worked great as a replacement to cheap bins that end up as garbage too soon. I think these might hold up for a bit longer hopefully. The double hinges to open from either side or just open completely taking it off is nice to access from all sides around camp. The gasket keeping rain out is also a nice feature. Being stackable is also a plus in travels and making room at camp. The boxes have lock ready holes but I wish the latches could be locked to keep curious raccoons out. Nonetheless these are well made boxes that I would definitely recommend.

I really like these gear boxes. I have some loadout boxes made by another brand, but these are better. The completely detachable, hinged on whichever side I choose, and clear lid make this product legit! They are very light weight, the size is overall perfect, and the price point is right in line for what you get. I can definitely see myself getting more of these boxes, should my wife allow it!

I love these boxes as they are light, sturdy, hold a lot and keep raccoons and other clever pests out. I have a bigger box which has strap holders so we can put on roof if need be.
