Great pack for air travel

I like this pack a lot. After the first trip, here are some thoughts. It's a great size for a roughly one-week trip via airplane. It fit under the seat in front of me on the plane but did not allow any extra room for my feet. I wish it were a bit lighter. The plastic handles on the back seem like overkill and probably add more weight than they're worth. I love all the different pockets and clamshell design. I love the significant hip belt (so many of this style of 'travel' pack have no hip belt at all or a very wimpy one). A couple of compression straps would be nice. Overall a great piece of gear for plane travel.

If this bag had a water bottle holder on each side it would be the best 40l pack on the market. You don’t need that extra handle on the side

Near perfect if it was 5L larger and s bit lighter

Well-made pack with generally well-thought-out pocket arrangements internally and externally. Carrying system is above average in terms of comfort for this type of backpack. The backpack is on the heavier side, I would’ve preferred to lose some of the unnecessarily heavy components and I wish it was a 45 L to maximize your carry-on allowance.

Great Carry on Backpack, a little heavy

Bought this bag for a trip to Italy. It was more convenient using this instead of a typical carry one that is bulky and have to wheel around everywhere. In places where you have to ascend multiple stairs or uneven roads this is perfect. I would say while it is built well and rugged, it is heavier than competitors, which is the only thing I could say bad about this bag. Other than that you won’t be disappointed in this purchase.

Perfect for short getaways. Holds a lot of gear and keeps it well organized. Good outer pockets for items you want accessible. Can be used as day pack once you get to your location. Exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Great backpack for extended trip with easy access

The bag held plenty of clothes for me on my trip to Europe, and I was able to keep it organized the whole time thanks to the multiple compartments within! I also found the smaller outside pockets to be very helpful in carrying extra books, my laptop, and water bottle.

An Industry Powerhouse

Where do I start? Gregory has been an industry powerhouse for decades, producing high quality gear that stands the test of time, and the Border Carry is no different. From the second you open the pack you can see that the material is high quality. It comes with a spot to put your apple tag and so many pockets and zippers to put small to medium sized items in. When it comes to the zippers, I put them through the wringer. I packed this bag to the max for an international trip and when it came time to zip up, the bag was extremely stretchable and the zippers were strong and able to withstand some force. For storage wise, I was able to pack an amazing amount of gear, truly pushing the limits of this pack. Last but not least, this bags comfort is premium. The back support was awesome and waist and chest straps were comfortable and helped to easily distribute weight. I will be telling everyone about this backpack and how well it worked for me for international travel. Thanks Gregory!
