    The Perfect Pack!

I spent hours, and hours researching backpacks for the Camino. While I am currently only putting local training miles on this pack, I can say with certainty that I made a great choice. The Jade 43 is very comfortable, I have had no issues with chaffing. The design allows easy access into the pack and side pockets. One thing that I LOVE about this (and was really hoping to find) is that my iPhone 16 Pro fits in the hip pocket, and it's so easy to get in and out while wearing the pack. This is an oddly profound gem, as no other pack I tried could conveniently hold an iPhone. The straps allow plenty of adjustability to accommodate all sizes, I will be trimming mine down a bit. I highly recommend buying the Gregory hydration pack to go with this pack, the magnetic strap feature is awesome!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Having a women’s backpack was really important to me for backpacking trips so that it fit well. The xs/s fits great for me and I’m 5’2

    Comfortable & Adjustable

Finally found the perfect pack to work as carry-on for hiking trip to Patagonia. Very adjustable to make it fit well and feel very comfortable with up to 26 pounds in it.

I bought my pack for a trip to Italy, on the return trip the sternum strap broke. I went to the store (2 hrs away) where I purchased my pack for a replacement, they did not have one and suggested I do a warranty claim. I have tried emailing and calling and have had no response. I am getting ready for my next trip and would appreciate being able to have a sternum strap. I am fine paying for one instead of warranty but they aren't available online or in the DIY section.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

The Gregory Jade 43 is an excellent backpack for multi-day hikes. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and the fit is customizable, making long treks feel easier. The ventilation system keeps you cool, and there’s plenty of space for gear without being bulky. A perfect balance of comfort and functionality for backpackers.

I was happy with the capacity of the pack and the overall fit... until the chest strap snapped. I should've listened to the other reviews I had seen before purchasing. And while I know I could get it replaced, I don't trust that it wouldn't happen again so I feel like I've just lost money on this. Very disappointing seeing as though I grew up using Gregory gear. Will have to do more research and actually listen to the reviews it seems.

I bought this for my upcoming trip on the Camino de Santiago. I had tried using a 32 L pack but just found it too tightly stressed with absolutely no extra space. I looked for packs in the 36-45 L range and was almost going to get an Osprey Kyte 36 but spied the Gregory Jade 43 on a rack by itself. I love the fact that there is a clamshell opening on the front in addition to the traditional bucket. I also love the top section that has two separated storage compartments. Would have loved to have a rain cover as part of the original purchase which is standard in Osprey packs. I've been training with it and like the feel of the pack. So far, the only annoying aspect is the sound of the moveable strap section which has a funny sound as the pack moves with your movement. Guess it will just become routine but I wish that fabric would be replaced with something less tactile and noisy.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

I was fitted with this pack for an upcoming backpacking trip to the Grand Canyon. I love it! It distributes the weight to eliminate any strain in my problematic neck.
