Generally happy with the bag. Bought it online without seeing it in store first. Did not realize there were purple colour accents. If you zoom into the photo and look at the far side of the bag you can see a small glimpse of the added purple. Just heads up if you were thinking the bag colour scheme is solid, it is not.

Great fit and contours to a curvy body. Very durable and enjoy the side access.

This is a beautiful bag -- lightweight, well padded, quality materials and craftsmanship - but it just doesn't feel comfortable on my body. I couldn't find the right length for the straps to sit properly on my shoulders. For reference, I'm 5'7" and I wear L/XL, 12/14 clothing - 17.5" torso. I went with the Deva :)

The Maven 58 is a luxurious backpacking experience. What a difference this pack, and 20 years of innovation, make in comparison to my last large-capacity backpack. My last pack (not a Gregory) was never truly comfortable, and it nearly made me give up on packs this size. When I thru-hiked the Colorado Trail, for example, I did it with a 34L pack. With that in mind, I'm so glad I gave the Maven 58 a go. The pack is lightweight (3lb 8oz for the S/M), has seemingly endless thoughtful touches, and is COMFORTABLE. I really like the soft mesh that's underneath the shoulder straps, which helps to minimize hotspots. There's an internal hydration sleeve which is great for thirsty folks like me. The technical specs explain that the hip belt flex panels are dynamic, which helps contribute to a smooth ride when the load gets heavy and the trail gets rough. Also in tech spec land, the back panel is over 90% air, which is so clutch when backpacking in the heat of summer. The full-length side access zipper is sure to come in handy for this messy packer. The fabric overall seems relatively durable, although I'm certain I'll rip some of the exterior mesh pocketing before the year is out. I look forward to all the goods I'll be able to cram into this stylish backcessory for years to come. Gregory gave me this free product to try.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are many features that make this an awesome pack. First of all the purple accents are very pretty, it fits me perfectly, and the straps are well padded and comfortable. There is also no wasted space in this bag. There is one large pocket in the brain and one small one tucked under it. There is also a removable divider at the bottom of the back if you don't want that feature. One of my favorite features on this pack is the side access, which makes it very easy to get to just about anything in your pack no matter how far you've stuffed it in. The last feature that I think makes the pack stand out to me is that the hip pockets are big enough to fit my phone. This makes it easy to quickly grab my phone to take pictures, but also means I have enough space to carry snacks and other little accessories as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Gregory and Expertvoice for giving me this free product to test and review. I absolutely love the Maven 58. It's got plenty of room to pack all your gear into with a pocket for important things like your keys. The to pocket it's perfect for items you need quickly on the trail. The side pockets can actually accommodate a large iPhone. It's the first pack I have used that can hold my iphone15 plus. The FreeFloat Technology is works perfectly and boy does it move with you especially hiking down hill. I love the pouch that can hold your Garmin or sunglasses. I did find it a little tight for sunglasses. I've added a video to show what I loved about this pack. This is my pack and will be using it the entire hiking season. Thank you Gregory, you definitely gave the competition a run for their money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gregory gave me this free product to try. The Gregory Maven 58 is a near-perfect blend of style, comfort, and smart design. The Bronze colorway is adorable-subtle yet stylish-with just enough of the dark purple accent color on some of the straps to add personality without being over the top. One of the best things about this pack is how adjustable it is. The torso length and hipbelt can be easily fine-tuned to fit a wide range of body shapes and sizes, making it feel custom-fitted no matter your frame. Even on the first use, it was surprisingly comfortable with no break-in period needed. The AirCushion suspension system does an incredible job of distributing weight evenly while keeping your back cool and supported. The mesh panel has a bit of bounce and breathability that adds comfort over long miles, and it keeps the pack feeling stable on varied terrain. Organization is spot-on-plenty of thoughtfully placed pockets and compartments, but not so many that it gets overwhelming. The exterior stretch stash pockets are perfect for quick-grab items, and the side zip into the main compartment makes accessing gear super easy without unloading everything. Bonus points for the creative GPS pocket with a secure loop-great for keeping your tech handy but out of the way. And of course, the key clip in a zipped pocket is always a welcome detail. Overall, the Maven 48 feels like a pack that's been designed by people who actually hike. It's lightweight, versatile, and built for adventure-definitely a go-to for weekend backpacking trips or gear-heavy day hikes.
