The GSI 1.1L Packable Halulite Boiler is the perfect pot that is lightweight and compact. Made from hard-anodized aluminum, it offers strength and even heating while weighing just 244 grams. The folding handle locks in place while cooking and collapses for storage, along with the included mesh stuff sack. The backpacking pot efficiently fits both 220-gram and 110-gram isobutane canisters.

I recently used the Halulite Boiler on a southern Colorado backcountry hunt and it worked really well. It’s a little on the large size if you’re looking to save space in your pack, but it was great for using at camp. Having the capability to heat enough water quickly for multiple freeze dried meals was beneficial.
