The compact GSI Coffee Rocket Coffee Maker is collapsible and fits inside any mug. Its fast, flavourful drip cone and filter design lets you brew invigorating coffee anywhere. The durable, notched folding legs grip any mug and allow mess-free cleanup. This travel coffee maker has an 8 fl oz drip cone and a filter capacity of 3.5 fl oz for medium-grind coffee, making generous amounts on the go.

    Use it all the time when camping by myself. It will not make a big cup or a pot of coffee but the flavor is amazing. It is also nice not having to deal with paper filters.

    No need to carry a heavy thermos or coffee pot any more. I have used this on snowshoeing outings, hiking trips and while Mountain Biking. It is always in my day pack now.

    Nice and light. Easy to use. Easy to clean. Used this every day for 10 days straight after purchasing, and it served me well. It's not a great option for a group, but excellent for individuals, which, I think, is what it's designed for. So 9/10 from me!

    The Coffee Rocket is a good compact coffee maker. I use it to make a single cup of coffee in the morning while camping. The strainer is easy to clean out, tap out the grounds and rinse while water and ready for another. The arms also fit various sizes of coffee cups.

    Its a super simple device that makes a decent cup of coffee. While its bulkier than some pour over options, I enjoy the fact that i can just pour the full 8 ounces of hot water in at one shot and i can just leave it to do its thing. Clean up is easy and the fact that it nests perfectly in the infinity mug is a great feature makes its bulkiness negligible. I use the coffee rocket all the time!

    Have made coffee several times with the Coffee Rocket. When you can get it to filter the water fast, it is a good hot cup of coffee in the backcountry. With my tinkering of trying to get it right, I feel like there are two things to get the water to filter through the grounds faster. (1) Don't pack in the grounds. (2) Don't fill you coffee too far in the holder. I done that hoping to make stronger coffee, but end up with a slow dripping cold cup of coffee. I do have the GSI Infinity Backpacker Mug that the Coffee Rocket nest into and it is great. Takes up very little weight and space in you pack. Overall it's a great solution for a good cup of coffee in the outdoors.
