GT Transeo Comp 700c Hybrid Bike, 21 Speed, Aluminum Frame, Mechanical Disc Brakes, Commuter

We bought two of these bikes just over a year ago, one men's and one women's bike. I can only say good things about these bikes. They are light easy pedalling bikes that soak up the kilometers effortlessly. They have proved to be very reliable requiring minimal adjustment and maintenance during the year. The shifters are accurate and the brakes, although they are mechanical disc brakes, work really well. These bikes really shine on pavement but can also do some off road trails, just not the real rough stuff. I upgraded to a more plush saddle after a while, fitted SKS Velo 42 mud guards, added a stem riser for the benefit of my broken wrist and added some lights as well. I can honestly recommend the Transeo as great value for money.

I bought this as my cruising bike was just too slow and I was not able to improve my route times. This is a great, lightweight and fast bike - it is easy to handle. I am glad I made the purchase.

It’s a good bike and the front shocks make for a smooth ride . I changed out the tires for a faster ride.

This is a good bike. I’m no bike expert but of the few bikes I owned, this probably is the best so far. Good handling, good shifting and a smooth ride. I bought this bike about a month ago for exercising and I have put about 400Km on it so far. I think the only thing the bike will need is some shifter tuning. Otherwise, everything looks good

Great bigenners Hybrid bike… just loosing some communication with stuffs from sportscheck. Customersevice is fine, however the person from the store to ask it assemble parts its not.. but all in all im happy with the Bike.. this is my second one I purchase a bike from sportachexk online.

This is a poorly made bike, and GT admits it! I don’t recommend doing business with GT either — they have shown themselves to be irresponsible at a comic level. I had this bike for a year with only light use. Then the bottom bracket popped out because the threads inside the bottom bracket shell were completely stripped. Now, there is nothing a cyclist can do to directly damage those threads. In 99% of cases, it has to be a manufacturing or installation fault unless the bike has been heavily used for several years. Mine had only seen a summer of commuting to work and back — and that’s it! But GT said they wouldn’t cover it because it was due to “normal use.” So beware! If you buy their bike and it completely breaks down on you, the manufacturer apparently doesn’t expect it to last longer than a year either.
