GT Transeo Sport 700c Hybrid Bike, 21 Speed, Aluminum Frame, Mechanical Disc Brakes, Commuter

My order still hasn't arrived. When buying this, it's not clear were the bike is shipped from and how long this would take. The estimated delivery date keeps being postponed. Would have not ordered from Sportchek if I'd known this was being shipped across the country and would take more than two weeks to arrive.

I bought this bike in 2022, it makes noise in the same year, and it's getting worse now. I only bike at summer time, 1-2 times a week, not sure why?

Excellent bike at great price, Purchased on March 24, 2025. I wanted to write the review after riding the bike a good distance. I have taken the bike out six times and rode about 120 km, in very windy conditions, uphill, down hill and on flat roads, side walks and bike paths. The bike was assembled perfectly by store bike technician. The only thing, I adjusted was my seat level and the tire pressure which I set at 65 psi, although the tires can handle a max of 75 psi. Since this bike does not have shocks, I choose 65 psi for a more comfortable ride.The gears switch very smoothly, the bike is very light and easy to handle. I did read another review about the brakes not being very strong and I found this to be true on the first ride. But I believe this was due to the bike being new, because now the brakes work well and I have no problem controlling my speed on steep downhill sections of my ride. You will not be the fastest bike on the path but you will have a comfortable ride on bike that switches gears well and handles great.Great bike at reasonable price

I bought this bicycle about 3 weeks ago . Not to bad for the price but definitely needs some changes Like the brakes and the seat ..

Not a good bike. Poor quality brakes, gear, frame, means over all poor quality. Should not be more than $200 bike. Only good thing it’s light weight.

Bought this bike last Sep. First, pedal came off and kept falling. Brought to Sportchek. They hammered it to fix the pedal. After couple of months, got flat tire. Called customer support with no resolution. Brought to sport check. They charged me to replace tube and fix it. It didn't last a day and tire was flat again. It is back in shop for repair now.

I bought the XL... it flies. Great bike, smooth gears, brakes work perfectly.

Shifting fairly smooth once it's tuned properly. For the price you pay for though the brakes are disappointing. High pitch squealing from both front and back and brake performance does not provide much confidence if needing to come to a quick stop. Feels and sounds like they manufactured the brake pads out of metal. At this price point buy a more reputable brand.
