GT Women's Transeo Sport Low-Step 700c Hybrid Bike, 21 Speed, Aluminum Frame, Mechanical Disc Brakes, Commuter

I bought this version of the bike in Apr 2020. I’m 5’8, with most of height in my legs. I ordered a Medium based on the GT sizing specs. Had the bike for a month before I decided the frame was too small. Sport Chek exchanged it for a large. Technically my measurements are on the low end of the GT specs for the Large. I’ve felt a lot more comfortable but I just decided I’d like to raise the handlebars for less wrist strain. The owner at my local bike shop said the frame was TOO SMALL for me given how high I already had to raise the seat (almost at the max safe height), and was surprised when I told him it was a Large. So in conclusion order 1-2 sizes more than you think you need. At least now you can go in store to try them out. When I bought it was early pandemic and stores were closed. GT really needs to look at their sizing guides if they haven’t since 2020.
