Comfortable, but durability is pretty bad

a month ago

I bought these to replace the same pair I'd used heavily for more than 2.5 years. This new pair didn't last at all - both feet had the shoe split on both sides where it bends when I step. I used them for work (courier) and they didn't even last 6 months before splitting. I was also only working part-time compared to full time with the previous pair. Quality is sure going downhill at HH.

Very comfortable but not very durable

The shoes are very comfortable. While walking in the rain, I can attest they are water-proof. The major complaint I have is the fabric uppers are tearing where the mesh meets the toe cap. This happened after about 6 months of daily use.

The inside heel of these has fallen apart after about 6 months. Prior to that, right off the bat, the foam in the back felt funny against my heel. Learned to live with it. I expected more from Helly Hansen
