Cheap Zipper will Fail

Overall quality is fine, but both HH jackets I have came with the cheapest and flimsiest zippers you could imaging for a harsh-weather coat (that is, one you're zipping and unzipping with gloves, etc.). Lasted about a year. Won't buy Helly Hansen again if the jacket is useless after such a short time.

Great except for the zippers

So far so good. Nice and warm and easy to layer with. Would give 5/5 but the pocket zippers aren’t a great design as they catch on the fabric easily. Otherwise I would recommend.

Helly Hansen versus Woods Puffer Jacket

I bought this jacket for those colder days but not so cold that I needed my down coat. I liked the longer arms as I am a taller person and the fit was perfect. However, I wore it that same day when it was -5C and I felt it just wasn't warm enough so I took it back and Sport Chek gladly exchanged it for a similar Woods jacket that had just a little more "puffiness" and it was much warmer while still being a classic "puffer" jacket. I am very pleased with my final purchase.
