Helly Hansen Men's Tromsoe Insulated Jacket

Great stylish jacket fits a little small to size, very warm and not too puffy for a parka style jacket. Packaging and shipping from Sports Experts /Atmosphere was poor, packaging was not well sealed and jacket was actually sticking out and partially stuck to packing tape.

I bought it 20% off but I still don’t think it’s a great value at that price. It looks good but it lacks a few key details like a waist cinch and a double sided zipper. This makes it uncomfortable in the car, the large pockets fold up so I can’t reach things in my pockets safely while driving and the strain on the lower part of the zipper is obvious so I think it will rip some day. The large external side pocket is useful. It has a mesh pocket inside it to hold your phone so I can throw my glasses in there too without fear of scratches. This jacket isn’t warm enough for Montreal winters in my opinion. My arms felt the cold at -10 and I’m not sure about the wind proofing. The pockets aren’t lined. The collar is high and warm and the removable hood is serviceable but it has a very flimsy cinch. Overall, not my best purchase and should have returned it. I am disappointed with Helly Hansen.

Quite warn coat, wear it to walk in winter. I do add 2 layers for minus 30.
