Super soft, thick fleece. Membrane blocks the wind well...perfect for cross-country skiing in the elements! The membrane covers half of the “tube” (the side with the HH), which has been enough to protect my face. A good purchase, particularly on sale. Recommended!

I walk daily and nightly and this neck warmer is warm and comfortable especially on those very cold days. It does block the wind. It's a looser fit but still fits nicely when I zip up my coat. For me, it is long enough to cover my ears and nose as well. It's nice to have instead of a bulky scarf. It's easy to wash (I don't put mine in the dryer). My friend bought one as well and he really likes it too.
