Bad zipper system

This jacket is well made and a super good fit, is warm and water proof. BUT, I’ve had the main zipper fail twice now. I returned it once and was exchanged for a new coat but the exact same issue has happened and now I can’t fully unzip the main zipper. Super frustrating for an almost $300 coat

The zipper is not very strong and it’s a pain to join both sides together to zip up. At the cost of just under $ 300 the zipper should be well made and more robust. Otherwise I like it although I wish it had a fleece lining to keep me warmer.

Lovely waterproof coat

I'm glad I decided to purchase this coat after seeing it in store. I was originally drawn to the coat due to its lovely pale lilac/purple color. I already own 2 Helly Hansen coats in the popular belfast style. However, even though they are considered rain jackets, they're not very waterproof and I always end up with rain coming through them after only a few minutes of being outside in moderate rainfall. This coat, however, really is waterproof. I've worn it a few times and no rain has come through. The coat also dries quickly and is insulated which is nice for this time of year. I also like the open part on the back and the reflective strips by the sleeves are a nice added feature, especially when walking at night time.The coat is rather long (it goes past my knees. I'm around 5'5") and the sleeves are long so I wouldn't recommend this coat for short women as it would be much too long. Overall I'm happy with this coat.
