Lightweight and super soft. Love them under ski pants

I love these base layer pants. I've skiied in them twice now and they're nearly perfect. The waist band comes up a little higher than I expected (it covers my belly button unlike the model's) which I love. I was worried it would dig into my stomach but it doesn't since it's higher. It stays put and snug all day long while skiing. I wish there was a little more stretch in the gusset and upper thigh area as it feels like the crotch sits a little low on the pants. They've kept me warm skiing in -12 degrees Celsius. I'm normally a size 12/Large in pants and I bought a large. I bought the Lifa Merino base layer top last year and this set is now my go-to skiing base layer.

Love these. They keep me warm even around -20 Celsius. I went for about a 45 minute walk in them and my legs got a bit cold but preferred them to walking in ski pants

This under layer is perfect for me. I'm a senior and need an extra layer of warmth most days in the winter, although I live on the temperate west coast. If I were younger and still downhill skiing, they would also be the right weight... not too heavy, not too light. These are too long for me at 5"0" and 110 pounds, but just right in the waist. If I were 5'3" or 5'4", they would be perfect in every way.
