Perfect coat for anyone who wants a really warm coat

Love this coat! Super warm in Canadian winters, colour is beautiful. Deep pockets great for holding phone, keys, etc. love the cuffs in the wrists!

Have only want to -35 celsius but I was still warm. I'm sure will still keep me warm at -40. Love the purple colour. Only complaint is when I sit it's tight in my hips but I just unzip (zips from the bottom as well as top) the bottom 4 inches it's perfectly fine.

I just love this parka. I love the colour, the fit, the degree of warmth, & the type of fabric.

Nice color, blocks the wind and cold, but it is very heavy.

The set of photos of the coat where it looks kind of full of wrinkles, thus making it look a bit frumpy, is not accurate to how it really looks. I assume the people who arranged those photos took it out of a box & didn't bother or have time to give it a quick rinse, spin & dry before the shoot. The coat actually is attractive on & doesn't look like junky fabric. It's a nice looking coat & feels comfortable throughout the body (I have a pear shaped figure & it fits fine. I purchased it in my usual size), although I wouldn't mind the fit along the arms to be a touch looser, however it's not too big a deal. The arms are a good length to partially cover my hands, so I think a longer armed person wouldn't find it too short there. The colour is more in line with the photo that shows it to be a deeper shade of purple, not the brighter one. I am personally very happy it turned out that way. The warmth filling isn't bulky, but in some areas, the filling doesn't seem to be there. I've worn it out in lower temperatures, but I don't have confidence that the filling in general is ample enough for really low double digits, especially if not moving around much, such as waiting for a bus or a light stroll. It's supposed to be waterproof & the rain does bead up on it, however the cozy lined sude pockets only have a button snap to close them. I have a bit of a concern that being out in rain long enough, in a heavy rain (or heavy snow that melts down the coat once inside a mall, etc) may cause dripping into the pockets, rendering them moist/wet thus uncomfortable to put hands into & potentially seeping into the hip area inside the coat. Sealed zippers should've been installed to better keep the coat waterproof. However, for the good sale price I paid, and the fit, I am still pleased with this coat.
