Helly Hansen Women's Victoria Spring Jacket

We go for long walks everyday and the rain does not deter us. But I've always found it hard to get raincoats that are long enough to almost reach my knees. Without that length, I get home and my jeans are drenched. This addresses that concern with flying colours. I wore high boots almost to my knees along with this coat on a few of the rainiest mornings recently, and all that was wet were my knees - and then only to a small degree because the coat still provided enough drape to limit the absorption. My only issue is that we have two small dogs and walk with a dog stroller so that we can pick up the pace when the smaller one is lagging with sniff-detail. With that in mind, I have stroller mitts on the handlebar, and I've found that the cuff on the mitts rubs the coat so that within the first walk or two, the water proofing in that one spot on the sleeves is practically gone.Now I'm reconsidering keeping my hands warm versus preventing the coat from losing more waterproofing. Other than that, I wear medium but bought a large so I could layer thick sweaters and vests underneath to extend the temperature range I can wear it in. With the simple cut, it looks good when I've layered underneath, as well as when I'm not layered and it's hanging more loosely. I'd recommend it.

I've had it for about 6 months and the waterproofing is already failing. Not impressed.
