Hydro Flask Carryout Cooler Backpack - 20 L

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't exactly sure what size would be best for my needs but the 20L was on sale so that's what I chose. It is bigger than it looks in the photos with no reference points! It will be great for trips to the beach and will easily fit my ice packs along with whatever food and drinks we need, so I'm happy with it. I also love the color (surf). The top and bottom are stiff, the middle is fabric over something thin. It's lightweight. The straps are sturdy. I'm only sad that it is going to get dirty once we use it outside!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's so cute and a great size. I get a ton of compliments on it, but we took it on a road trip for our first use and it was in the air conditioned car and the ice melted within a few hours which is a bummer for the price. Wouldn't buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hydro Flask design a good cooler, and they are not a backpack company. The straps are very poor design and very uncomfortable to wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I deliver Meals on Wheels so I actually purchased the Carry Out Soft Cooler to keep the meals hot/warm. The meals fit perfectly and, even at the end of the route, they are still warm.

Mine arrived yesterday. I like the size of this backpack (I’m 5’2”), the color, the carrying handles, and the mesh pockets. The overall structure is mid-range in quality (compared to Yeti on the high end and cheaper coolers on the low end). The backpack straps are cheap and I can’t believe they would be comfortable to wear for more than 15 minutes, especially with a loaded cooler. Really disappointed in those and surprised the quality was given the green light for the price point. Comfortable straps on this item is a must. If you’re a parent, AKA pack mule, you understand what I’m talking about. When I opened the lid I was surprised to see the inside scratched and creased up. Someone had obviously used this cooler already and likely filled it with ice cubes or those pointy frozen packs. The liner is not thick enough in my opinion. It shouldn’t look like that. In the daylight I noticed the top/lid also had a couple of scratches. I’m sadly going to have to return this item and get a better brand for a backpack cooler. I normally love Hydroflask but not this item.
