The loop was better than the current strap.

The finger loop cap was stronger than this strap style. And a carbineer would fit it. I just don't understand why we have to try to change something that was fine in the first place.

Great Replacement - with a super small flaw

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this lid! It works reliably and seems to be well built. My only complaint is that the stem must be -fully- opened to drink, and there is very little friction after you pull the stem out of its lock position and no lock in the open position to keep the straw engaged.

i’ve had to buy 4 new caps now because the red rubber piece that holds the straw molds and doesn’t come clean. defeats the sustainability goal if i have to buy new plastic every year when my bottle is 8 years old. i don’t want to have to file a claim or have something shipped. a just want a design that will last

Broken after cleaning once

I've had my hydroflask for years and have loved it, my only complaint was not being able to get into the tiny spaces where the straw connects to clean it. My friend told me the plastic strawpiece does in fact remove to clean it, and showed me. I finally took mine off to clean it, and now all I can suck up is air. I've adjusted the straw, I've taken out and replaced the red piece, and nothing is working. I have also noticed the plastic strawpiece is very lose and floppy where it wasn't before. Very sad the first time I can actually deep clean this thing is when it breaks.
