Icebreaker Boys' 260 Tech Leggings

These Icebreaker Merino 260 Tech Thermal Leggings were a recent purchase for my 11-year-old son, who is an avid backpacker like me, and they've exceeded all expectations. The midweight merino wool is incredibly soft and non-itchy, making it comfortable for him to wear on long hikes. The natural breathability and moisture-wicking properties keep him dry and warm, even during high-output activities like steep climbs and regulation during breaks and camp setup.. On colder nights, the insulation is perfect for layering under his hiking pants or sleeping bag. Durability is always a concern with kids' gear, but these leggings are holding up exceptionally well. After multiple trips, including muddy trails and rocky scrambles, they've shown no signs of wear or pilling. The gusseted design allows for freedom of movement, which is key for active kids who are constantly on the go. What I also love about the Icebreaker 260 is the odor resistance-it's a lifesaver for multi-day trips where fresh clothes are limited. My son can wear these for several days without any complaints of discomfort or smell. Hiker trash or not, these never smell! Overall, these leggings are a must-have for young adventurers. We are wearing them whet skiing, under skiing pants, and they are perfect for every day in the school. Thank you for a great product for children! Natural, warm, light and it is not itchy.
