The wide leg and wide waistband makes them just different enough from bike-shorts that they fill a different role in my wardrobe. I usually wear a M in Icebreaker pants -- I sized down to a S in these and they fit well. 5' weight 125

love these and they don't overheat!

I struggle with overheating in almost any bottom other than sleepshorts but i'm able to wear these comfortably within and outside house. I normally go for M if i need a looser fitting shorts. I think S in these was perfect and they don't look baggy on me. I wear size 4 in pants. I love how breathable they are, and they are perfect if you want casual shorts in warm weather too. I'm going to order atleast one more of the same.
