JanSport Big Student Backpack

My daughter wanted a backpack that could hold her MacBook, gym uniform, text books etc, lunch and with a water bottle holder on the side that was able to accommodate a large owala and this backpack fits the bill.

Jansport has been around forever so I trust the quality. My son has had a similar Jansport backpack for two years with no issues so when we saw this one on sale we grabbed it for my daughter. It is a great size bag! Easily holds the lunch, water, shoes, sweater and books and there are lots of smaller compartments for deodorant, gum, or whatever other junk the kids collect and carry around. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is because the zipper often gets caught in the flap that covers it on the main pouch which is a bit annoying... never gets stuck but enough that you have to back up and try to zip again. We actually ended up cutting the flap off of my son's bag because his was worse and would actually get really stuck, but this fabric is a bit different so it doesn't get all caught up at least.

So far it’s been great, but she hasn’t even used it a month. The true test is after a full school year.

Love this backpack! I bought it after a coworker bought one and showed me hers. It's got tons of space, sections and pockets, to organize everything big and small. The material is strong, yet light. The back padded section provides a snug-fit for my 15-inch laptop but, wouldn't accommodate a larger size. I highly recommend it!

The backpack look durable and it has huge compartment which i like most. There’s room for a lot of things. Yet a little bit disappointed for only one water bottle compartment.

My son has only used this bag for 2 weeks and already the mesh compartment on the side to hold bottles has been tearing and fraying. Our last Jansport bag lasted over 2 years without issues. Disappointed.
